Welcome to Project Pass It On! Our VPK (Pre-K) program is dedicated to empowering kids as they prepare for kindergarten through engaging lessons and structured learning. Here’s what you can expect from our Pre-K classroom.
Our Approach
At this stage, children develop key academic and social skills. Our program focuses on early literacy, math, problem-solving, and independence—within a warm, encouraging environment that builds confidence and a love for learning. Additionally, our Project Pass It On Summer Camp offers exciting summer camp activities that further enhance these essential skills.
We use the research-based Frog Street Pre-K curriculum to support early learning across domains and empower kids for future success. Our program includes essential components like Language & Literacy, focusing on vocabulary, early reading, and writing; Math & Science, covering numbers, patterns, measurement, and discovery; and Social & Emotional Growth, which emphasizes teamwork, self-regulation, and problem-solving. Additionally, Creative Exploration through art, music, dramatic play, and movement is crucial, along with Physical Development that nurtures fine and gross motor skills through hands-on activities and outdoor play. During the Project Pass It On Summer Camp, children engage in summer camp activities that guide them through fun, purposeful experiences, laying a strong foundation for kindergarten.
Exposing your child to the sounds of different languages early in life helps them retain and identify those sounds years later, making it easier for your child to learn other languages. Empowering kids through multi-lingual exposure, such as the engaging summer camp activities at Project Pass It On Summer Camp, enhances your child’s cognitive development during this crucial time for brain growth.

Our daily schedule at the Project Pass It On Summer Camp includes: Morning Circle: Songs, calendar, and group discussions aimed at empowering kids. Learning Centers: Rotations in literacy, math, science, and creativity that enhance summer camp activities. Outdoor Play: Active movement and cooperative games. Meals & Snacks: Building independence and table manners. Rest Time: A quiet, restorative break. Enrichment: Art, music, and storytelling. Closing Circle: Reflecting on the day and previewing tomorrow.
To help your child have a great day at our Project Pass It On Summer Camp, please provide:
- A backpack for personal belongings
- An extra change of clothes
- Comfortable shoes for active play
- A water bottle
- Health information, including allergies and any special considerations

Discovery I.Q. is an advanced level VPK program designed to empower kids based on Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences. Discovery students will receive personalized lesson plans tailored to their individual learning styles. In addition to traditional VPK coursework, these students will engage in summer camp activities through the Project Pass It On Summer Camp, which includes monthly extra-curricular activities and family events. Furthermore, Discovery students will utilize a math and science curriculum to accelerate their learning and prepare them for a higher level of Kindergarten success.
